Based on our standard faraway tree but extensively reworked so tat it could relate to the clients diningroom table (see installed in environments gallery). The design is composed of two 'overlapping branches' that bow from one end to the other. The chandelier is illuminated by 13 suspended G4 low voltage halagen lamps inside suspended glass balls.

A massive ballchain chandelier installation for a Hotel in Foyer. Willowlamp supplied the chain curtains as separate elements which were fitted onto a steel subframe that we also supplied. We did not need to supply the lights as they were spaced between the pattern of the frame design directly. This solution allows the client to control the lighting itself which has some serious advantages on these sorts of large projects.

This oversized version of our 'flower of life' chandelier was one of our most challenging projects to date. It weighs approximately 400kgs, is 2.7m in diameter and 6.5m in length. The Project was for a famous old hotel in Egypt on the nile with a view of the great pyramids. The story is fitting because the origens of the sacred geometry known as the 'flower of life' which is the inspiration behind this design, have some of their roots tied to the great pyramids.

'Ngoma Chandelier'. The word Ngoma means drum in Shona.
Here, Willowlamp combined an oxidised frame with black chains. The design of the frame was inspired by a garden gate which Willowlamp saw on their trip to Venice in 2006. They also used G4 lamps which are 12V and give a magical sparkle.
