“Clarté” stands for “Clearness”. That very special clearness, so dear to the French Enlightenment thinkers of the 18th century, that represented their desire to create a world finally controlled by Reason. Gabriele Pezzini has given life to a poetically rational lamp. Made up of two parts – a metal structure, embellished with an elegant nickel finishing, and a diffuser in rare Murano blown glass, in a particular grey/beige shade - Clarté proves that luxury must be “moderately and tastefully” expressed and that all objects, especially at a time of economic crisis such as the current one, must be able to “last over time”, going beyond excessively contemporary fashion trends and manners. Clarté, with its slightly suffused light, aims at becoming a “contemporary classic”.
