Not everything you receive through your letterbox deserves to be thrown away straight away. Invitations, birth announcements and postcards etc. are mail which is not put straight in the bin, but collects on desks and windowsills. Wouldn’t it be nicer to have paperwork climbing up studies and kitchen walls in a much more controlled fashion? Dusseldorf-based product designer Christian Lessing set himself this task and the ‘card trellis’ was designed! The 87cm long and 7.6cm wide strip of spring steel is available in white, grey, black and orange. Letters of various sizes can be easily stored in the asymmetrically-arranged compartments.
