About
We are based in Ridderkerk, the Netherlands. Every day, over 300 employees contribute to the development, production and marketing of Quooker. We have branches in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Luxembourg, Norway, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United Arabic Emirates.
Innovative
Quooker is constantly improving its products. This has resulted in the development of high-vacuum insulation, the COMBI, the COMBI+, the Nordic Twintaps, our all-in-one Fusion tap, the all-in-one Flex tap with a handy, flexible pull out hose and the CUBE system that delivers sparkling and chilled water. Innovating, refining, adjusting and optimizing are at the core of our company.
Manufactured in the Netherlands
Our production department is responsible for all Quooker manufacturing. Although a number of components are supplied by third parties, most essential parts are produced in-house. Assembly and quality control takes place in the Netherlands. Quooker production also offers supported employment for the disabled.
Service
High-quality service is essential to Quooker B.V. We work closely with our Quooker dealers, but we remain responsible for service support. We provide assistance direct to our customers, from sending them extra parts to undertaking on site repairs.
Corporate culture
The company is run by Niels and Walter Peteri, sons of Quooker’s inventor Henri Peteri. Niels is responsible for the more technical aspects of the business, while Walter specializes in the commercial side of things. Niels helped found the company in 1987. Today he comments, “We can’t really say that we’re a young and ambitious organization, but we do have a certain pioneering spirit. Our employees know that they are contributing to a unique product.”
The brand
Registered as a brand in 1989, Quooker’s descriptive and internationally recognizable name has proven to be a great success. The Quooker is the world’s first boiling-water tap and the company holds global patents both on the Quooker and some of its parts. The Quooker brand represents high-end technology and excellent quality – qualifications cherished and safeguarded by Quooker B.V.
