Designed 1945, manufactured prior to circa mid-1946 by Evans Products Co., walnut faced plywood, rubber and zinc.

The use of twin cylindrical shock mounts to the chair's back confirms a manufacture date of 1945-1946. Examples manufactured subsequently featured a revised oblong shock mount.
