When Philippe Starck designs the interiors of luxury apartments, two things are a must: a hint of eccentricity and the comparatively minimalistic faucets from the Axor Starck collection. Starck once again used this contrast in the Yoo luxury apartments in Munich in 2007.
Yoo offers a range of four style worlds for the apartments, which have also been developed by Starck: from minimalistic to opulent. The stressed metropolitan nomad attracted by this innovative all-inclusive concept can move into a perfect, customized design environment. More than 4,000 apartments have already been built around the world, and whether in London, New York, Miami, Buenos Aires or Hong Kong, they have all been designed by Philippe Starck.
The site selected in Munich is a building from the “Gründerzeit” period in Germany, located on the edge of the trendy Glockenbach quarter. Refined natural stone and the strictly cylindrical Axor Starck bathroom collection shine out in the bathrooms, offering design quality that lasts.
