Natural or high-tech materials: the new generation of innovative materials is multi-functional and characterised by tailor-made features and forms. A selection of these new materials for technology, design and architecture was on show at the Material Vision trade fair in Frankfurt am Main from 16 to 18 June 2009.

The most important European materials networks presented their spectrum of services for designers, architects, engineers and creative professionals. These include modulor – material total, Berlin, MatériO SAS, Paris, Material ConneXion, Cologne, Architonic, Zurich and the Zurich Material Archive.

The next Material Vision will be held from 24 to 26 May 2011, once again in conjunction with Techtextil.
