The true invention of the Wogg 42 chair is the upholstery that lies on the supporting structure like a blanket. The upholstery material between the upper and lower side of the fabric is welded into one element in a revolutionary high frequency process. The three-dimensionality only emerges after it is folded onto the frame. The accurately fitted fabric parts are attached with snaps allowing them to be replaced easily and changing the impression of the chair in a crucial manner with different colors. The underframe made of minimal wood sections seems fragile while being very sturdy indeed.
