United: the paraoxical sunshade

In September 2010 Sywawa has launched the 3 latest creations by Lieven Musschoot and Mathias Hennebel, one of which is the United. “The United parasol symbolises the feeling of togetherness among people and the lack of it at the same time : a perfect paradox, says ”, says General Manager Pierre Christiaens.

Friends and relatives are united under the protecting sunshade. They are dancing in circles, hand in hand, and full of joy. Is that perfect harmony. Or not? The matching parasol base, the United We Stand, is the tough, proud, beautiful and sunbathing friend that keeps the harmony of the United sunshade alive.
