Lead bath
In the spirit of the the Supernova fitting's character, the architecture of the lead bath is not a classically composed space. Instead, the lack of spatial definition gives rise to lifestyle furniture that can be placed anywhere within a room. The result is an island in the room that places all of the functions and zones of the bath in the middle. An architecture that is an entity of its own.

Premium baths
Supernova presents the first premium bath Lemon as a friendly flowing bath. Together with the fashionable lemon hue, glass and a mirrored wall form the modern interpretation of the fitting. The second premium bath incorporates the concept of private wellness. Not only hotels have suites equipped with private saunas and wellness areas directly attached; now more and more private bath owners can treat themselves to a such a retreat. With its light, smooth surface, the bathtub and shower of this premium bath evoke a private spa. The bath as a cosmetic island that can be freely arranged in space, underscoring Supernova's sculptural character. The brown tiles characteristic of the time imbue this premium bath with a subtle contemporary interpretation of a 70s aesthetic when combined with the white ceramic tub and shower. The fired surface of the tiles evokes the spirit of a stream of light and harkens back to Supernova's play on light's reflection and refraction.

Premium applications:
The return of glamour to fashion, with which Christophe Decarnin thrilled Paris for Balmain during Fashion Week for example, is reflected in the Glam Style. Stylish and extremely elegant. A champagne-colored, highly reflective fitting finish, a vanity countertop in piano-black lacquer and white velour carpet – a vanity so stylish and elegant that it would look at home in the bedroom or living room. Baroque yet not baroque – this does not just apply to the most recent collections from prêt-à-porter designers such as Marni or Roksanda Ilincic, but also to the Baroque style: new light surfaces instead of dark heavy colors. And a minimalistic architectural language as a counterpoint. Furnishings assume a completely different air in silver. A conscious overabundance of light underscores the journey back to the baroque.

Already originating in New York and London in the 1940s, the loft is still the epitome of creative living spaces today. The Supernova premium application Fiction provides a futuristic interpretation of this style: An open honeycomb room divider and indirect light source, highly reflective cement on the floor and a gleaming white bathtub show that subtlety is often the best way to make a splash.

Cubism Chic plays with surfaces and corners similarly to the architects Max Vogt and Josef Chochol. The bath is dominated by two walls: a full-length mirror and a relief wall whose cubes reflect the multifaceted design. This makes the relief appear to be three dimensional - in reality it is a masterfully crafted trompe l’oeil wall paper design. The floor and vanity countertop are crafted from two different types of marble that serve to extend the dramatic interplay. The presentation of the Supernova bath as Neo Bauhaus is just as minimal as it is functional- at the same time an homage to 90 years of Bauhaus. The straight-forward and functional style of the bath are characteristic of Bauhaus, as is the color and material combination in highly reflective black and white with light wood. The nested light strip emphasizes the graphical style.
