SPOOL de Roda

A closely spaced succession of cords with a consistent texture, embraced to a metallic tubular frame, with simple, sinuous lines that brings to mind weaving spools.
This is the idea that gives the name to the new outdoor furniture collection of Roda: Spool.

Designed by Rodolfo Dordoni and presented in preview at 2011 Salone del Mobile, Spool is a project that gives life to a new vibrant story, composed of woofs and attractive shadow effects, created by the light that filters from the sections of the backrest.
The result is a collection with an explosive design, a perfect balance between strength and lightness, that doesn’t neglect of comfort of seating, that can accommodate an abundance of soft cushions.
Spool interprets at best the design vision of Roda, enriching and enhancing the other collections of the brand.

The collection Spool is composed of two- and three- seater sofas, a lounge chairs, a chaise longue and low tables (cm. 80x80, 120x80 e 120x120).
The outdoor varnished metal structure are available in smoke with grey cords and milk with sand cords versions.
The low tables are matching with some stones, among which the Avola stone, with a sophisticated coloration that varies from brown to black.
