Medea de antoniolupi

antoniolupi shows the thinnest bath in the world, which is 12 mm thick; Medea is the new collection of baths made of Corian with tiny and light lines. Its square shape makes it be an element with a clean geometry, its smoothed edges soften its line by enhancing its soft shapes. Its thickness makes Medea look like a folded foil and let even the structural minimalism, which characterizes it, show.
Medea is much lighter than other similar items made of the same material. It is available in several shapes and sizes as well as in the free-standing version with elements allowing its leaning to the wall. antoniolupi’s ten-year experience in using this material allowed to take lines to extremes. A painstaking work of joints and gluing allows to give this bath an excellent structural toughness despite its weak and light look. Therefore the “structural minimalism" is apparent only, resulting from the mastery of the material.
It is available in a huge range of shapes and dimensions following the philosophy also applied to other products made of Corian.
