Product description
The physical composition of this crystallised glass ceramic differs considerably from traditional glass products and the result can be said to be more similar to reconstituted stone products.
This material has a similar appearance to some stone, with excellent consistency, depth and lustre. It is lighter than stone with increased hardness and superior abrasion and scratch resistance than marble, the closest material in appearance.
Its extremely low porosity makes it easy to maintain and also gives high resistance to corrosion, both chemical and weathering, offering a long lasting gloss retention.
The product can form curved surfaces more challenging to achieve with stone products.
It has limited available panel sizes compared to other synthetic products and typically higher cost.
When back illuminated by a strong light source the material displays a degree of translucency.
