It is lightweight, water-resistant and elegant: the Landistuhl. Created by Swiss designer Hans Coray (1906 –1991), the Landistuhl was destined to become the most memorable object of the Swiss national exhibition - or "Landi" - held in Zurich in 1939. Today the chair can be found in all of the major design museums around the world.
Its characteristic hole pattern lends the stackable aluminium chair an airy look and feel as well as providing stability. Its unadorned functionality, timeless aesthetics and indestructible materials make the Landistuhl the ideal all-weather furniture for both indoor and outdoor use.
