Gubi Chair de GUBI

Designed by Komplot in 2003, the GUBI Chair was the first industrial product based on an innovative moulding technique using 3D-veneer. The GUBI Chair collection is a series of chairs and tables for restaurants, cafes, conference, lounge, office and home. It includes chairs and tables in three heights.

Shells:
The shell is available in laminated moulded 3D-veneer or in the injection moulded HiRek material. The thickness of the shell is 5 mm and it is available unupholstered, with front padding or fully upholstered in fabric or leather. The finishes of the 3D-veneer shells are beech, black stained beech, white pigmented maple, oak, American walnut or black soft coating.
The shell of the café chair and the stool is also available in the injection moulded HiRek material in black or white. The thickness of the shell is 5 mm and it is available unupholstered, with front padding or fully upholstered in fabric or leather. The stool is offered with a low or a high backrest in 3Dveneer or in HiRek.

Bases:
The steel sledge base of the stool is non-stackable and comes in chrome, satin chrome, black or white in three heights 45 cm, 65 cm or 75 cm.The swivel base of the stool is available in chrome and offered with a foot ring and return swivel mechanism. The swivel base can be floor mounted and the height is 75 cm. The 4-legged wooden base of the stool comes in oak, black painted or American walnut in height 75 cm

Upholstery
The upholstery is in leather or fabric. The leather includes laminated leather from Tärnsjö or Night or Savanne from Arne Sørensen.The fabric includes Holmensklæde from Danish Art Weaving: 100% wool, Kvadrat: Tonus, 90% pure wool and 10% nylon; Hallingdal, 70% pure wool and 30% viscose and Divina, 100% pure wool.
