Alfredo Häberli chose basic geometric shapes and piled them one on top of the other to create interesting paterns. Both the variation and the contours give the furniture a fascinating and visual shape. Furniture sculptures, suitable for storing books and exhibiting objects.

Empire is very decorative, even more when used in repetition. It is easy to find a space for it and it is extremely practical: books automatically lay on their side, there is no need for book supports anymore! Exhibited amongst others in Museum für Gestaltung in Zürich and art museum "Kölnisches Kunstverein" in Cologne.
