For the new Richard Lampert LIVING OUTDOOR collection, Alexander Seifried has designed the MASH folding chair as a homage to Robert Altmann’s anti-war comedy by the same name, and with Dish’s Island, he has not only created another product for the new LIVING OUTDOOR line but has, yet again, referenced the 1970 Altmann comedy: Lieutenant Marie ‘Dish’ Schneider is the inspiration behind the name of this sun lounger.

LIVING OUTDOOR: with Dish’s Island, Alexander Seifried has created an extremely comfortable outdoor seat and lounger, offering a multitude of usage options. Dish’s Island is just as great a sun lounger as it is an outdoor couch. This is made possible by the multi-use shelf that comes with it and can be used, for example, as an arm or backrest. Due to the generous measurements, Dish’s Island offers enough space for two people.

Dish’s Island can remain outside during the summer; for storage during the winter, the cushion and slatted frame can be rolled up and the support frame can be disassembled.
