Classic is, just as its name implies, a true classic. It has been crafted using a long-fibre, wool yarn with a fine lustre and sheen that is used in many of Kasthall’s rugs. Kasthall’s head designer, Gunilla Lagerhem Ullberg, has carefully selected a range of 17 fantastic colour combinations with a shimmering look, in single and variegated shades, mixing classic natural colours with vibrant, contemporary hues. Thanks to the high quality of the wool yarn and the closeness of the stitching Classic fits in equally well in the home as in busy public settings and larger projects. Classic is available in five different versions, providing rugs with a choice of pile depths, borders and relief effects; Plain, Bouclé border, Bouclé Stripes, Damask and Grid.

CLASSIC DAMASK
This elegant pattern is created by the interplay between cut-pile and bouclé. The pattern is drawn by hand, inspired by damask fabrics and cake doilies. The expression is a sophisticated reinterpretation of classic medallion wallpaper.

CLASSIC GRID
Classic Grid has a subtle geometric pattern inspired by weaves and grids. The three-dimensional pattern is created by the contrast between surfaces of cut pile and bouclé. Grid´s sophisticated design adds elegance to most settings. Damask and Grid is available in the 9 solid colours: Royal Red 1001, Tangerine 1002, Pacific 2001, Granite 5005, Shimmering Heather 6001, Bronze 7001, Cream 8001, Sandstone 8002 and Beach 8003.

NOTE! Classic is one of our very finest, hard-wearing qualities, which makes it ideal for a living room or public spaces. Classic is often used when we create patterned, specially designed rugs of various types. When ordering a customised size you can choose any width and length. You can also have a rug made in your chosen shape: round, oval, elliptical, etc. Depending on the natural materials used and the different handicraft processes in production, dimensions of the rug may vary by up to 2%.
