For 2011 Emu presents its wickerwork novelty, intended above all for the contract market. Charleston is a collection consisting of a seat in three versions: a stool, a chair with the legs covered entirely with wickerwork and a similar version in which the wickerwork only partly covers the legs, plus a family of tables of various different sizes. The table top is made of solid sheeting while the structure is made of steel subjected to cataphoresis treatment. The chairs, which are lightweight and stackable, are a perfect and original combination of a traditional shape and a unique mix of materials: aluminium and wickerwork for the legs and back and steel worked with stylised geometrical patterns for the seat. The style - as the name recalls - brings back to mind the magic and bubbly atmosphere of the nineteen-twenties.

The available colours are brown and greige.
