Butte de Established&Sons

The Butte box design is based on that of an ancient wooden travel case. Scholten & Baijings have developed new production techniques to translate the skilled craftsmanship used to create the original boxes into new products. The storage box is made of oak wood veneer. The inside of the box and its cover is painted with fluorescent orange, blue or pink. Each box (just as the original cases they are based upon did) tells its own story through hand-drawn, printed illustrations. The drawings tell stories of environmental issues created especially for Established & Sons; ‘The life of a tuna fish’, ‘The life of a turtle’ and ‘The life of a tree’. The Butte boxes are available in three sizes.
