Pull-out larder tall unit
Storage cabinets are an essential element of any kitchen. Bulthaup now offers a tall unit that can be pulled out all the way, even when fully laden, without noticeable sagging.
The new tall unit with full-length pull-out offers sufficient space for provisions. It can be loaded from either side to suit and all of the food inside can be seen at a glance. The unit therefore follows the open-shelf principle, albeit with the significant advantage that, after all the cooking is finished, the unit can be closed – and all of the supplies are stored away again without spoiling the calm appearance of the kitchen.
One of the features of the new pull-out larder tall unit is a technical innovation from bulthaup: A fitting which ensures that the torque produced when the drawer is pulled out is simply transferred into the carcase. The pull-out glides noiselessly and stably out of the carcase, even when fully laden, without sagging to any noticeable degree – and without any hint of rocking or wobbling. When closed, it self-closes over the last few centimeters stylishly and precisely.
The aluminum interior has a timelessly beautiful appeal, allows flexible use and harmonizes perfectly with other bulthaup kitchen interior drawers and pull-outs in solid wood and aluminum. It is also extremely easy to care for. A key feature in planning is the fact that the new pull-out larder tall unit has a variable width. The advantage of this is that the bond is formed without the usual adhesive, which later on some times becomes visibly discolored. Fronts look like they were made from a single mold and they not only look good but are also easy to care for. Their seamless surfaces resemble that of fascinating lacquered fronts, but the qualities and the economic characteristics of laminate surfaces offer definite advantages. In Germany, bulthaup has patented this innovative process of imperceptible seamless laminate joints.

With its rough-sawn oak front, bulthaup is reinterpreting the previously strikingly sleek oak grain and bringing out its natural character.
The special feature of this new front with the coarse structure of the original saw cut is that, here too, the surface is finished with the natural wood lacquer exclusive to bulthaup. This not only offers the wood maximum protection, but it is also virtually invisible. It does not seal the surface, but rather accentuates the impression of the sawn roughness. The look, feel and radiance of the original saw cut are truly mesmerizing. The natural character and vitality of the wood become outstandingly clear.

The striking technical feature of these doors is their innovative alignment fitting which allows the thin bulthaup b3 doors to be created in a single piece up to a height of 2.36 m. Top box with pocket door
Where do you put the small kitchen gadgets that you use on a daily basis but you don’t want to have hanging around the kitchen? The new top box offers all the storage space you need, as well as the option of using the
equipment directly in the unit. The toaster, coffee maker or food processor that is in everyday use should be ready to use inside the unit whenever you want.
With its full-length, easy-on-the-eye door, it blends in beautifully with any line of tall units. Equipped with a pocket door fitting developed especially by bulthaup, the door can be opened with a light touch and slides silently into the unit. This means that it is out of the way when in use, while at the same time revealing the full range of functions inside the unit.
The sheer functionality of this design is evident even from the basic version: with outlets and an easy-to-care-for stainless steel base. The unit can also be equipped with LED lighting which comes on automatically when the unit is opened. In terms of the design of the fronts, you can choose from the extensive palette of bulthaup materials, including solid wood, veneer, aluminum, stainless steel, lacquer and laminate. Three widths (60, 90 or 120 cm) are available.

A unique feature at bulthaup is the strip anodizing of aluminum surfaces. This is the only means of offering aluminum in a color quality that can be reproduced. Originally, bulthaup created the color of gray aluminum by developing a completely new eloxate using organic pigments. This aluminum front has a warm, pleasantly dark appearance that changes with the reflection of the light. Front surfaces are consequently given an individual character and lend the interior design an individual touch.

In the classic fitted kitchen there are only two solutions, as the worktop is neglected. The innovative bulthaup b3 kitchen system and its practical function boxes, however, provide solutions that make the best possible use of this previously neglected area, the space between the worktop and the wall unit.
These function boxes provide storage for spices, oil and vinegar, kitchen tools, knives and small containers. In other words, everything you need to have on hand when preparing or serving food, cooking and cleaning. These function boxes conceal their contents behind easy-care glass fronts and offer excellent access when their doors are opened. The doors can be opened either completely or just halfway. In contrast to sliding doors, where one side is always hidden away, this solution keeps everything in view.
