Boson de Artifort

What defines mass? When you sit in the Boson, you get a lesson in physics. Because the Boson is named after the Higgs Boson – an elementary particle that imparts mass to other particles. Bosons were discovered in the nineteen-sixties but have never been observed. And this inspired Patrick Norguet to design the Boson fauteuil.

The plastic layer has been reduced in thickness as much as possible so as to achieve a functional balance. And where the visual mass stops, the lightness of Boson begins.

The Boson table and fauteuil are in perfect equilibrium. Floating. Light. But firmly anchored. The round base of the fauteuil is echoed in the table. A beautiful combination.

Available in diameters of 60 or 100 cm and 40 cm high. The top is white laminate, veneered or black or white coated. The column is made of chrome and the base of polished aluminium.
