Bag Stool de Quinze + Milan

For the first time in its existence Quinze & Milan goes concrete!
Referencing material consumption, Gitta Gschwendtner has created concrete and woodcrete stools cast from moulds based on paper shopping bags. Their individual, irregular form is created during the casting process. This playful design looks like it’s popping up right from the ground. Gschwendtner poses people consume too much today and she wants to turn around the process just like she turns up side down the shoppin bag into a sitting element. People sit on the bagstool, relax and rethink about their behaviour. The concrete version is suited for outdoor use and the woodcrete version for indoor use. This is a lighter version made up from a mixture of concrete and wood fibres which makes it lighter and a more environmentally friendly.
