Paolo Piva is a past master of refined understatement, as his Ardea range, with its light, modern look, proves yet again. Ardea is elegant and restrained, and the unbroken lines of the body, arm rests and back exude serenity. Make yourself comfortable on the wide, deep seat and a sense of ease envelops you. The loose cushions can be combined at will for support. The long cushions close off the back, and the short arm cushions transform the sofa into a relaxing chaise longue.
Available in three widths, this generously proportioned sofa with its soft upholstery makes a weightless impression due to the delicate feet and the low backrest, and can be positioned in the centre of the room without hesitation.
The armchair is available with the same feet as the sofa or with a revolving base. The two footstools also come with a revolving base. All of the feet for the sofa, armchair and footstools are infinitely adjustable, meaning that the seating height can be tailored to individual needs, and – a rare and useful function – the furniture can be adapted to uneven floors.
Ardea with leather covered tubular feet
The serenely elegant Ardea line now has an attractive new variant in the shape of leather covered tubular feet. Like the others in the range, these are infinitely adjustable up to 4 cm to permit a choice of seating heights and adapt to uneven floors.
