Antaro desking programme: Focus on form

When planning the interior furnishing of a company, specific requirements for the various functional areas need to be combined in order to comply with, and reflect, corporate identity. Office furniture manufacturer Assmann, from Melle, has designed the Antaro desking programme specifically for this purpose - and will be showing it for the first time at Orgatec 2008.

The Antaro desking system allows for an extensive range of furnishing options. The coherent design accommodates a wide range of standards and requirements. The choice of materials means that any area, from secretary's desk to conference rooms to executive suite, can be furnished appropriately and without having to dispense with the functions and facilities of a professional workplace. The polished aluminium finishes on the round or square legs (depending on the version) of the Antaro desk shine under the desktop. A desktop in a lighter effect that makes the work surface appear to float is also available. Other highlights can also be added to the desk by means of the tube-in-tube height adjustment. "Of course, we have a wide range of veneer and decorative surfaces and frame colours available for specific designs for the various hierarchy levels," adds Gerd Lauszus, director of Assmann's product management, describing the flexibility of the new desking programme. Antaro desks can also be fitted with modesty panels, equipment holders, organisation partitions and many other adaptations to achieve the optimum workplace.

The Melle-based company also focused on future proofing of the programme in its development. With plenty of options for upgrading, Antaro desks can be adapted to the user's individual requirements at any time. Furthermore, the forward-looking compliance with draft EU standard DIN EN 527/1 guarantees that the decision-maker will have a flexible workplace that continues to meet all legislative requirements in the future.
