On a journey from Viersen to England in the late 1970s, the Vieten brothers discovered old original chairs of the Lloyd Loom trademark. They returned to Germany with a fascination for loom material and embarked on their quest to manufacture premium furniture according to the Lloyd Loom technique.
In 1981, following an extensive experimental and development phase, ACCENTE began production. The ACCENTE Collection was received with great enthusiasm in the German market. Today, with 70 employees, ACCENTE manufactures over 120 different furniture models for worldwide distribution. The “ORIGINAL ACCENTE”fabric, made of woven cellulose yarns, continually demands the creativity of ACCENTE’s designers and the uncompromising precision and perfectionism of its skilled craftsmen. Each piece is handmade and unique. Highest quality beech wood, known for its exceptional stability and resilience, serves as the foundation for the robust frame around which the ACCENTE fabric is formed. The loom material is worked onto the individual frame by hand to ensure the perfect texture, refinement and finish of each individual piece. This intricate process based on over a quarter century of experience guarantees the distinguished signature and quality for which the ACCENTE Collection is celebrated.
