Silver&Steel

On the occasion of the home textiles (Heimtextil) fair in Frankfurt, the Langenthal textile company Création Baumann was awarded the AIT Innovation Prize for textiles for its new »Silver&Steel« collection, which was described as a product of high architectural quality.

The innovative aspect of »Silver&Steel« in textile terms is new technology for applying a coating of steel to the back of textiles. The steel-coated fabrics not only reduce the effects of light and heat, but are also washable and resistant to breaking and cracking.
