Henry Glass designed the Swingline furniture series in the early 1950s for use in children's bedrooms. Bright colors were used to help assist in organization and all edges of the cabinets were constructed with rounded corners and hinges to prevent injury. The Swingline furniture series had a short production run and examples from the series are quite rare.
