A «Portex» armchair, designed by Peter Hvidt and Molgaard Nielsen, 1944, manufactured by Thonet Vienna around 1950, beechwood and plywood, with Thonet label, stackable, height 78 cm, width 61 cm, depth 60 cm, height of seat 39 cm. This armchair was first produced in teakwood as « Portex Stacking Chair « by Portex, Denmark, in the 50ies in beechwood by Fritz Hansen, Copenhagen, Denmark, and also by Thonet in Austria.
