‘A Machine’s Perception’ door handles will make any door an eye catcher. The handles have been introduced on the International Furniture Fair, Milan, in spring 2011. Alexander Pelikan created these cutting edge door handles by controlling both, the possibilities and shortcomings of
machines. The exploiting of errors in a 3D scan-file of an existing handle has led to the visualization of a scanners’s perception. With ‘A Machine’s Perception’ door handles, a flawed Virtual Reality became thus real and tangible. The doorhandles are deliverd with the base plate and all necessary fixtures. Two versions are currently available: “facet” and “skelet”.
