Hadi A. Tandawardaja, Dipl. Ing. Architekt

He studied architecture at the University of Stuttgart and in Switzerland at the EPFL Lausanne. Previously, he was collaborating internationally with offices operating in Spain and Germany. His work was showcased at prestigious locations like the DAM - German Architecture Museum | Frankfurt and at the Max Planck Institute in Munich. His projects have been nominated for the Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany and he was awarded the DDC Award for Good Design. Since 2007 he is lecturing at the University of Stuttgart.

Tobias Bochmann, Dipl. Ing. Architekt

He studied architecture at the University of Stuttgart and the EPFL Lausanne in Switzerland. He received the student award by the ByAK and the Architectural Association of Baden Württemberg, as well as a scholarship from the “Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes”. Since 2001 he has been responsible for the design of various award-winning buildings and won the BDA “Award for Good Buildlings” in 2005. In 2009 he began lecturing at the University of Stuttgart.


SOMAA. is an architecture firm based in Stuttgart and Barcelona. SOMAA. focuses on projects at the intersection of architecture, communication, culture and urbanism. The practice works in an interdisciplinary way with planners, engineers and project specific teams of other designers and collaborating architects.
