Gon Zifroni, architectural designer and writer

Gon Zifroni is a designer working at Metahaven, a studio for research, graphic design, architecture and media. Previously he has been working at a number of architecture practices on projects dealing with public space, such as Nesselande industrial and housing development for the city of Rotterdam (Kas Oosterhuis Architects) and skateboard structures for the cities of Eindhoven and Geneva.
Metahaven was founded in 2004 by Daniel van der Velden and Vinca Kruk, and is now based in Amsterdam and Brussels. Projects include Affiche Frontière urban study and branding for CAPC Bordeaux, Stadtstaat merging the social fabric of Stuttgart and Utrecht, Europe Sans article series for E-Flux Journal about the European identity, Play visual identity for Van Abbemuseum, Utrecht Manifest biennial for social design visual identity and more.
Metahaven is exhibited and lectures widely, and its members teach at institutions including Yale University in New Haven, the Academy of Arts in Arnhem (graphic design and media theory) and the Sandberg Institute in Amsterdam.
