The metal Vigna chair for Magis is Martino Gamper’s first design for the industry. Like a climbing plant the Magis wire swirl creates a structural feature which supports the chair leg. The seat is in bi-injection-moulded plastic, a technology allowing to obtain a seat pattern in many combinations of double colours. Besides the chair, we developed this year also the project of some tables and precisely: a round table with a steel rod plait as central column and two tables on four legs (a squared and a rectangular one) with the same structural feature of the chair, that is the wire swirl climbing on the legs.
