Trinidad von Fredericia Furniture

The definitive Trinidad chair, which was designed by Nanna Ditzel back in 1993, achieved its modern classic status many years ago. But even classics must sometimes be updated. The interior architect Lotte Wedel Storm has created 8 new colours for the chair, to be presented at the Stockholm Furniture Fair 2011.

The new colours cover a broad palette, with light pastel colours, full dark nuances and intense, rich colours. Inspiration has been taken from Nature’s own colours – exotic flora and fauna, the sky, the sea and the earth. It has been important for Lotte Wedel to bring light into the colours to create an airy colour scale, which also displays the colours’ intensity when warmed by the sun. These 9 new colours represent a small selection of the wealth of the earth and Nature’s beauty, and are sure to bring light and joy to any interior.
Colours: Shell, Lime, Lemon, Dusty blue, Flamingo, Lotus, Thunder, Soil, Ice blue.
