The history of Conde House for 40 years is closely related to design trends in Germany and Scandinavia. Here the Japanese company finds its design roots leading to thrilling approaches out of two different cultures.
The Tosai collection connects traditional woodcraft and Japanese interior with the design tradition of the German Bauhaus which Peter Maly, the designer of Tosai, claims to be his main influence. The result is just persuasive - stimulated by the contrast of cultures, a new furniture collection brings alive the strength of both partners. Clear basic shapes, finest materials such as American walnut and white oak and uncompromising professional skills and precision is the principles of Conde House.
