Tomoko Vorhangstoff von Kvadrat

The late Danish-American designer Ross Littell lived in Italy for much of his life and created furniture as well as textiles and pictorial art. In the latter two contexts, he attained a unique position resulting from his graphical-optical designs, where the motif appears to step out of the textile or paper. This curtain is named after his Japanese girlfriend, Tomoko, with whom he lived by Lake Como in Italy latterly. Tomoko is a classic design – like an axe running through the surface of the damask textile. With its discreet and graceful pastel palette, the woven textile is eminently suitable as a curtain for large contract spaces such as hotels and conference centres.
