As if it were a light sculpture, Ondalina is built between sinuous, organic and fluid forms to show that the objects may transcend its mere function and convert into magic elements that awake feelings and brighten up rooms.
This lamp, made of acrylic, has the ability to surprise: switched on, it creates a suggestive and delicate atmosphere; switched off, it sets up as a constant presence that strongly personalizes any room. As if it were a tear, Ondalina is dropped and lights up rooms in an attempt to overcome the rigidity of the materials with which it is made.
The weave of the lampshade sieves the light source so that the light is gentle yet extensive. There are two versions: the standing Ondalina, resting in a metal base, and the hanging Ondalina, which floats bound to the ceiling.
