An innovation of the late 1800s, with a design that, even at the time, had been created with the intention of mass production.
Gebrüder Thonet Vienna experimented with techniques other than that of curved beech, and thus inventing the knot structure.
The result is a natural, modern, and efficient look.
It is simple to make, but at the same time, a high-quality product.
Designed in 1891, the garden chair no. 4 reflects the modern attitude of a company that joins form and function in popular furnishing.
Careful choice of materials.
Maple or teak, both extremely hardwearing and ideal for the slatted seat and the support structure for outdoor use.
