Forest von Lensvelt

Ineke Hans designed Forest For The Trees for Lensvelt. It is a hattstand made out of a flat metal sheet. The parts are cut out of this sheet using a laser. The branches are folded, the two parts of the tree are slid together and then the coat rack is varnished. Forest For The Trees is available in three standard colours: red, black and rusty brown. Forest For The Trees gets lots of attention either when standing alone or as part of a ‘forest.’ Hans has transformed an everyday object into a functional sculpture.
