Eira is a very soft curtain featuring big transparent circles that travel across the surface of the fabric. These are created using a satin binding combined with an a jour binding. This construction produces a surprising and elegant effect: the appearance of the circles changes according to the way that light falls on and through them.

Fanny Aronsen experimented with many different weaving techniques, before finally achieving the ‘right tension between the circles and the background’.

Eira’s palette is fashionable and exclusive. The fabric is available in seven colours: elegant snow white, trendy light lilac, crisp silver, deep petrol, elephant grey, dramatic purple and apple green
