An essential project, the result of a shape synthesis and a ethic observation about sustainability principles. A simple and clean shape that abstracts itself from fashion mechanisms to fit in with classical and modern contexts.

The lamp holds inside an advanced LED technology, exclusively developed for ILIDE to improve the luminous performance, decrease consumptions and guarantee an almost eternal life.

Chiara is equipped with a very high-performance single LED, directly powered to the line voltage thus there is no need to have any cumbersome line conversion devices attached to the electric cable.

The light Chiara emits is constantly turning on and off and a very fast rate, but this blinking effect is unnoticeable to the human eye and looks like a normal light. Through this technology it is possible to reduce the energy consumption, temperature, and improve the lamp’s performance and product life (it lasts more that 40,000 hours).
Chiara's shape synthesis technically transposes itself to reduce the consumption of electric power, accompanied with a minimal use of materials and an optimization of the luminous performance and product life.
