AVL King Kong von Lensvelt

Another Happy Office piece is King Kong, also known as the ‘almost perfect’ (2006).
AVL designed the chair on a napkin and then sent the sketch to a Chinese company to produce it. Instead of the designer, random and external factors in the production process decided the chair's final appearance. Far from a slick product fresh from the factory, the chair has irregularities, a non-geometrical shape and a handmade look.
