It is 1979. Bruno Munari’s ABITACOLO wins Compasso d’Oro Prize for design. With Munari ROBOTS lays out a philosophy which will be further validated by new successes such as Piero Polato’s RETI in the 80s and by an enriching collaborations with Enzo Mari since 1991. Mari has designed the main systems that ROBOTS offers in its catalogue. They are DELTA, TECA, TRIESTE, SEATTLE and VENEZIA.
These systems are simple, functional, multi-purpose, easy to mount and have been designed as modular units to offer maximum personalization. The catalogue is enriched with ALA projected by Richard Sapper, a sophisticated and elegant shelf system; different objects designed by D’Urbino-Lomazzi like T-TAP, JACK and chair T-TINA, with the presence of Chiara Rapaccini, Cristiano Iacobino and Marc Sadler.
ROBOTS’ products unify the traditional manufacturing of metal to new materials offering special furnishing solutions in syntony with contemporary living.
