ELEMENTS is a unique collection of lamps which falls outside the usual parameters of an industrial product in terms of its conception and materials. While each object has its own particular identity, the collection was designed so that each lamp can be inserted into a larger interior scenario.

The name ELEMENTS also refers to the materials used- a selection of base elements; copper, nickel, aluminum and other simple alloys such as brass. The metals are presented in their natural state, their special unique finishes have been hand created by artisans. This approach with the rigorous attention to details, contributes to define a timeless style.

The adjustable hanging spotlight WORK LIGHT MA01 and the hanging spotlight WORK LIGHT SOSPENSIONE MA 05 are technical lamps made in thick burnished brass, with a handmade finish. The hanging version widens the range of products and allows the creation of different sets.

The hanging lamp DARK LIGHT MA 10 refers to the technique “Dark Light”, used in some technical office lighting. The particular configuration of these lamps allows the light to be controlled through a series of reflectors or baffles. This creates a luminous intensity directly underneath the fixture while controlling the glare from a distance. This optical effect, often applied to recessed down-light, is particularly fascinating as from a distance the light source is almost indiscernible, revealing itself when approached. The concept of the suspended lamp is derived from this technique; increasing the scale to become macro. The new enlarged reflector or baffles become essential and predominant in the aesthetic.
