Bamboo is obtained by carving a series of close parallel grooves with rounded edges in thin slabs of marble or limestone. The result is severe and smooth is at the same time, just like the Oriental bamboo creations from which the product takes its name. Designed for floors and walls, on its own or combined with flat elements, Bamboo can be used in a variety of different projects. It will be able to draw attention towards sophisticated architectural choices. Used on facades, for example, it blends both the elaborate and the minimalist to achieve unexpectedly dramatic effects when illuminated, at night, with sweeping lights which multiply the shadows of the grooves. It is also suggestive of an oriental atmosphere and is the ideal material for spaces devoted to relaxation, both in public places and in elegant homes. Available in different sizes, Bamboo is a splendid collection of five different materials which, with their texture and colour, exalt both the delicacy and rhythm of the Bamboo design.
