Josef Frank was an Austrian born designer who worked in Sweden with Svenskt Tenn starting in the early 1930s. The furniture he designed with Svenskt Tenn straddled the traditional Swedish aesthetics of harmony, purity, and simplicity and the utilitarian and rational side of Modernism. Branded signature and manufacturer's mark to bottom.
