The Faaborgchair was designed especially for the Faaborg Museum by Professor Kaare Klint in 1914. The elegant chair presents itself as a sculpture and is produced in both mahogany and eur. cherry - the seat covered with niger (goat) hide, oxhide or fabric of choice. The woodlogs for the chair are dried outdoors for about one year. The drying process continues in the workshop cellars for approximately one year before the actual production of the chair can begin.
