Easy handling, comfort, high quality cushioning and upholstery, intuitive regulation and adaptability to the posture of the user: these are the qualities vaunted by M2, a concrete example of a chair with a human dimension. M2 is available in a cantilever version, with or without armrests. The frame is in chrome-plated flat steel tube. With the same comfort as the operator chair, this version is ideal for the waiting room and the reception. M2 in the compact armchair version vaunts the same seat and backrest as its namesake for operators, plus two full-height upholstered armrests that elegantly cover the sides. A timeless design that combines the principles of ergonomics with the lines of rationalist furniture.
Padding
Padding in non-deformable expanded self-extinguishing class 1 polyurethane, cold-pressed, density Kg/m3.
Upholstery
Flameproof fabric class 1, available in many varieties of colours and fabrics; all have passed the most rigorous tests of resistance to wear and tear.
Structure
Seat and back in multi-layer beech wood 14 mm thick with an anatomic form.
Base and castors
Spokes in polished aluminium on castors.
Spokes in black nylon on castors.
The self-braking swivel castors can be in soft rubber or hard plastic, or on fixed feet.
Mechanism
Sincro: this allows for adjustment of the angle between the seat and the back, with shockproof in 5 different positions.
Sincro with side shift: this allows for adjustment of the angle between the seat and the back, with shockproof lock in 5 different positions and the possibility of moving the seat horizontally.
Centrally pivoted: with an oscillating movement and the possibility of locking it in a horizontal position.
Fixed plate: seat height adjusted by gas-powered movement.
Up&Down: back height adjusted movement with shockproof in 8 different positions.
Armrests
Overhanging, in shockproof pure polyurethane with metallic insert.
“T” shaped, adjustable height, with support in black painted or chromed steel and with polypropylene coating.
