Design 306 is a bas-relief modification of Design 6 (1956) without the perforations for the passage of light. Its large-scale and sinuous vertical pattern suggests organic forms when seen straight on. But at different angles or when changed by light, other patterns emerge suggestive of sand dunes or river beds. All its patterns are sensual and soothing.
