Product description

The Z-clock is an icon of American Art Deco. Designed in 1933, the clock was first exhibited at the Chicago World's Fair. The example shown here is the actual model displayed at The Masonite House at the fair. The clock comes from the estate of Grover J. Daly, a designer of furniture and interiors from the mid-1920s through the 1940s. Lot includes letter of provenance and accompanying photographs showing the clock in situ on the mantel in the Masonite House.
